"Our purpose and identity lies in Christ and Christ alone.  Any other purposes or identities that they claim, if outside of Christ, will not bring true joy and ultimately be all in vain…if not in Christ."

Our High school department is like any other high school departments out there.  We worship and we grow.  There is nothing unique about us.  As a matter of fact, we strive to be as less unique as possible and because of this, we may seem different.  Our focus is to glorify God and spread the Gospel as best as possible.  Though we fail and we have much room to grow, we try and follow the word of God and be consistent as much as possible.  Our focus in all that the high school department tries to achieve is to answer this question: How can our worship to God be more pleasing to God? How can we move in a direction or act upon a standard of being Christ-centered?  We try to obey the word of God not because we want God to love us but because He loved us first.  Due to the secularity of this age we are constantly living to identify with reflecting Christ as opposed to reflecting the world.  However, we do not live to go against the world in it of itself but rather live trying to be like Christ, hence, opposing the world because of the contrast.
