Jr. High years are when students begin to form sense of identity as to who they are and where they belong.  Therefore, Jr. High age is when students begin to question the validity of what they have learned about God and about the Bible during their elementary years.  They question and investigate the knowledge they have acquired and decide for themselves whether to accept God as true and living God.  Therefore, Jr. High years are critical in shaping of their faith.  It is either a make it or break it stage when comes to their faith.  Thus, consequently, the main focus of Inland Jr. High ministry lies with assurance of salvation.  Salvation is not result of their good works but result of God's grace.
